Silk Screen, Asian Arts organization is a 501c3 non-profit whose mission is to promote cross-cultural education of the Asian Arts through entertainment: film, music and dance performances.
Marketing & Public Relation: This person will work directly with the Executive Director in maintaining and increasing the media presence of Silk Screen
Maintain active presence in social media (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest etc.)
Create press releases for Silk Screen events and Film Festival
Work with the Film Programming interns to create marketing materials for the Film Festival
Create updates about Silk Screen on local community calendars
Manage local/national media contact information: keep up-to-date and research for new sources
Hours: Silk Screen Office – between 10-15 hours a week
The main event of Silk Screen is a 10-day film festival in the spring showcasing Asian and Asian American films.
NOTE: Interns are expected to be available throughout the entire festival.
